Anandana is an amazing teacher. I’d previously practiced Yoga when I was younger, however, in recent years my fitness focus has been purely on weightlifting as a way to improve my strength and conditioning, albeit at the detriment of my flexibility and overall well-being.
As a result I resumed my yoga journey again in March this year and with Anandana’s expert guidance and help my flexibility is the best it has ever been and my body feels amazing.
The added benefit is that because I don’t feel so stiff and sore anymore my weight training routine and strength has further improved.

I was very skeptic about doing yoga, but Ananda has slowly nurtured me to the practice. I have been sufferer of foot pain but practicing yoga in lesson has helped me tremendously. One thing I can the duty of a teacher is teach but if you aren’t not regular and resilient you won’t see the benefits of any lesson. Challenging, relaxing and attention to detail.
Anandana does AM and PM yoga classes at Pure Gym in New Barnet which other local people and I attend regularly. The evening sessions are of a fast paced nature and are challenging, which is what makes them enjoyable. Anandana encourages everyone to push themselves and corrects postures individually where needed. I've really appreciated her teaching at the yoga classes which subconsciously encourages self discipline and want to further attend, even if sometimes it's tight for time in arriving in good time after a long working day. I've improved on my strength breathing and flexibility by regularly attending Anandana's classes. She is unafraid to push regulars to go deeper and more wholly, as well as give guidance to newer attendees. The classes are well enjoyed and attended by a mix of ages and abilities- both male and female. What those can't do alternative poses or options are offered and what those can do, it's encouraged to do with your all!
